Mr. Manule Owens, age 74 of Summerville, GA passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at his residence.

Manule enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was known as a friend to all and willing to help out a friend in any way at any time.

Mr. Owens was born in Rome, GA on  February 10, 1949, to the late Dan Lee and Nora Bell Rutledge Owens.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Victory Dan Owens and Richard Allen.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Hughes Owens;  one sister and brother in law, Nathan and Sharon Deering; nieces and nephews, Bo Allen, Elaine Abbott, Ann Abbott, Andrea Hall, Karla Hughes, Jason Hughes, Josh Hughes and Brent Hughes; family and friends, Sissy Roland, Sammy Shoemake, Evelyn and Alton Maddox.

The Owens family will receive friends Friday, May 26, 2023, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.

There will be no formal services at this time.
