Mr. Kenneth Wendel Ivey, age 64, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Ivey was born November 24, 1957, in Gulfport, MS, son of the late Walker Ivey, Sr. and Mary Erma Schruff Ivey.  He was employed with Shaw and enjoyed walking and spending time with his granddaughter and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Judy Chambers and Angelia Sauls.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Ivey, Delane Croy; step-son, Shane Tucker; brother, Walter (Sandra) Ivey; sisters, Linda Callaway, Sharon Headrick, and Florene Ivey; grandchildren, Marcala Ivey, Layla Farmer, Kaley Ivey, and Eli Croy.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.  Pallbearers will be
J. J. Ivey, Dustin Ivey, Cole Ivey, Shane Tucker, Mike Sherman, Dale Callaway, and Keith Sauls.

Mr. Ivey will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
