Mr. Joshua Paul "Big Josh" Jones, age 34, of Summerville, GA died Friday, October 15, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Jones was born May 18, 1987, in Rome, GA, son of Jackie Lamar and Debra Ann Henderson Jones.  He attended Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle and was employed as a truck driver with Arka Express.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by grandparents, Elizabeth Dodd, Joann Brown Fay; and cousins, Brad Jones and D.J. Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Aldridge Jones; daughters, Delylah Jones and Oaklyn Jones; parents, Jackie and Debra Jones; brothers, Quentin Jones, Matthew Jones; sister, Julie Jones Marchena; aunt, Flora Matthews; grandfather, Kirk "Bonehead" Fay; and uncle, John "Big John" (Carol) Fay, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.W. (Dubb) (Crissy) Aldridge, Frankie (Jennifer) Aldridge, Jennifer (Joseph) Tucker, Misty Aldridge, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Jones will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
