Mr. James Timothy "Tim" Hurley, age 63, of Lyerly, GA, died Monday, February 10, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Hurley was born August 2, 1961, in Chattanooga, TN, son of the late James Carlton "J.C." and Doris Myrl Johnston Hurley.  He was Baptist by faith and was employed as a Millwright with Local 1263.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheree Cook Hurley.

Survivors include his children, Josh (Emily) Hurley, Leslie Gazaway, Jessica (Kyle) Shepard, and Journey Hurley; step-sons, Shannon Roach, Stacey (Emily) Roach; a brother, Britt Hurley; sister, Teresa (Knocky) Ledwell; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Subligna Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Colby Wyatt, Bryce Gazaway, Tuff Shepard, Kyle Shepard, Blake Gazaway, and Caleb Butler.  Honorary pallbearers will be his special friends and the members of Local 1263.

Mr. Hurley will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. on Thursday.
