Mr. Herbert Jeffery Reed, age 58, of Trion, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Reed was born February 2, 1963, in Columbus, GA, son of Shirley Wood Reed and the late Herbert Reed.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, and prior to his retirement, he was employed with Chattooga County EMS.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Candy Pope Reed.

Survivors include his daughters, Brooke Reed, Courtney Jarrett (Paul Reece); mother, Shirley Reed; brother, Mark Reed; grandchildren, Cameron Burrage, Lucas Black, Riley Jarrett, and Zoiee Jarrett.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Reed was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
