Mr. Grover Edison "Eddie" Chamlee, age 77, of Trion, GA, died Thursday, July 1, 2021, at his daughter's residence.

Mr. Chamlee was born December 8, 1943, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Louie Edison Chamlee and Leola Kathryn Wright Chamlee.  He had recently made a profession of faith and was baptized in his daughter's home.  Mr. Chamlee loved his grandchildren, hunting, and listening to bluegrass music.  He was truly one of a kind.  He was self-employed in the autobody repair industry.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Chamlee was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Chamlee; and a brother, Larry Chamlee.

Survivors include his sons, Tony Chamlee and Justin Chamlee; daughters, Rhonda (Tim) Gentry, Amy (James) Carver; brothers, Kenny (Doris) Chamlee, Danny Chamlee, Steve Chamlee, and Paul Chamlee; a sister, Jeannine Laws; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Chamlee will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, July 5, 2021, at Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Shaver officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date at West Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Chamlee will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Monday.
