Mr. Gary Lee Knox, age 59, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Advent Health Redmond.

Mr. Knox was born June 30, 1963, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, son of the late Bud Knox and Emma Gladys Smith Powell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Theodius Powell.

Survivors include his brothers, Frederick Lebron Powell, Rickey Powell, and Michael Wooten; sisters, Tandra Davis, Ida Underwood, Alma Powell, and Mary Ruth Booker; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Knox will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Second Baptist Church in Summerville.
