Mr. Franklin Ladon "Don" Dotson, age 75, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Dotson was born December 26, 1947, in Summerville, GA, the son of Jeanette Floyd Dotson and the late H.C. Dotson.  Don was retired from Mohawk Carpet and was a member of the Faith Temple Holiness Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Dotson.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lavender Dotson; mother, Jeannette Dotson; sons, Jeff Dotson and Gary Dotson; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Rev. Steve Burns; sister-in-law, Alice Dotson; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and nephews, Stacy Burns and Darian Dotson.

Funeral services for Mr. Dotson will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 1, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Mann and Rev. Steve Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jeff Dotson, Gary Dotson, Darian Dotson, Dwight Dotson, Zack Dotson, and Casey Ramey.

Mr. Dotson will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Friday.
