Mr. Emmett "Wayne" Miller, age 78, of Menlo, GA, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mr. Miller was born April 4, 1944, in Rome, GA, son of the late Bennett and Sue Miller. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in Vietnam. He was employed by the US government.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Elaine Patterson Miller; sons, Emmett (Nora) Miller, Jr., Barry Miller; and 5 grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Kevin J. Norton officiating.

There will be no visitation.
