Mr. Emmett Marcus "Mark" Jackson, II, age 60, of Summerville, GA, left to be with the Lord late Friday evening, August 6, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mark was born October 1, 1961, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Emmett Marcus Jackson, Sr. and Virginia "Gin" Mae Hawkins.  He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend amongst so many other things.

Mark grew up in Summerville, GA, and was a long time mechanic at Mount Vernon Mills.  He loved to go fishing and take care of his dogs, Stone and Sugar.  He was a very kind-hearted and devoted son who dearly loved his mother and cared for her until she went to be with the Lord.  He loved his daughter, granddaughter, and all of his family so very much.  Not only will his witty personality be missed, but all in itself, his kind soul – "Until we meet again."

Mark is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Jackson; granddaughter, Samantha Page; brothers, Lebron Jackson, Charlie Jackson; sister, Mildred Teems Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
