Mr. David Lee Jones, age 75, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mr. Jones was born January 13, 1950, in Fort Payne, AL, son of the late Milford Wilson Jones and Jewel Mildred O'Casey Jones.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as an over-the-road truck driver.  He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lee Ellen "Lou" Jones; and second wife, Terrishea Elaine McCormick Jones.

Survivors include his sons, Zech (Leslie) Jones, Casey Jones, and Brian Daniel; daughter, Dorie Reed; and grandchildren, Gabriel Jones, Percy Jones, Carter Reed, and Leanna Jones.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
