Mr. Butch Cordle, Sr. age 65 of Trion, GA passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at a Rome hospital.

Mr. Cordle was born November 3, 1956 in Trion, GA to the late Robert and Goldie Sue Thomas Cordle. He was an active member and deacon of Welcome Hill Baptist Church, a Free Mason, and was retired from the City of Summerville.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by siblings, Jerry Cordle and Linda Cordle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Tammy Westbrooks Cordle; children, Butch (Debra) Cordle, Jr. and Brandi (Todd) Buchanan; sister Sharon (Kelise) Hurst; grandchildren, Laci (Derrick) McNair, Victoria Buchanan, Colton Buchanan,  Brittonie Cordle and Anna Cordle; great-grandchildren, Alyssa & Murphy McNair; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Cordle will be held at 3:00 PM Monday- October 24 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Shores officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery with Tommy Young, Jaycee Young, Don Sabin, Cliff Cordle, Ryan Headrick, and Justin Lewis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Trion Masonic Lodge #160, the Deacons of Welcome Hill Baptist Church,  and his nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
