Mr. Bobby Don Edwards, age 85, of Summerville, GA, died Friday, December 5, 2025, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Edwards was born March 12, 1940, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Charles Daniel Edwards and Ethel Lee DeBerry Edwards.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Georgia Rug Mill.  Mr. Edwards was also an ordained Baptist minister.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Styles Edwards; daughter, Cynthia Ann Edwards Black; siblings, Pless Edwards, Lester Edwards, Joe Edwards, Nellie Black, Sadie Cornellson, and Albert Edwards.

Survivors include his son, Danny (Rhonda) Edwards; grandchildren, Kayla Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Korey Edwards, Braden Black, and Bradley Black; great-grandchildren, Luke Edwards and Aven Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Lyerly Cemetery with Mr. Tim Edwards officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Steve Edwards, Andy Edwards, James Edwards, Mike Edwards, Donnie Edwards, Ricky Edwards, Luke Edwards, and Ragen Black.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Edwards, Tom Edwards, Rodney Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Korey Edwards, Bradley Black, and Braden Black.

Mr. Edwards will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
