Mr. Billy Donald Chadwick, age 86, of Cloudland, GA, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Mr. Chadwick was born November 10, 1935, in Trion, GA, son of the late Daniel Spencer Chadwick and Lillie Mae Simmons.  Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Chadwick Excavating.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Chadwick was preceded in death by his wife of 53 ½ years, Shelby Jean Everette Chadwick; siblings, Virginia Jo Smith, Tommy Chadwick, and Jimmy Chadwick.

Survivors include his daughters, LaDonna Barton, Christi Stout, Zelma (Marcey) Yancey, and April (Bart) Bryant; a sister, Shirley Love; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Barry Everette officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Joseph Tucker, Jeremy McDowell, Dana Yancey, Clint Chadwick, Nick Stout, and Josh Powell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Tucker, Tanner Maynor, Jagger Yancey, Parker Powell, Swade Warren, Dannon Yancey, Dalton Stout, Mikiyah Warren, and Lane Stout.

Mr. Chadwick will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Sunday.
