Mr. Adam Wayne Drake, age 41, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Drake was born August 26, 1979, in Centre, AL, son of Ronald Earl Drake and Loretta Lee Rutledge Drake.  He was Baptist by faith and was employed as a millwright with Georgia Pacific.

Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alonzo Jackson Rutledge, Jr. and Bertha Lee Rutledge, Donald Junior Drake and Bonnie Sue Drake; aunts, Nancy Drake and Jackie Sprayberry; and cousins, Amanda Drake, Anda Lynn Drake.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ronald (Melette) Drake; mother, Loretta Drake (Charles McCray); fiancé, Crystal Patterson; son, Ridge Drake; daughters, Cotton Drake and Abigail Koonce; brothers, Christopher Drake, Nathaniel Drake, and Bryan Dorries; a sister, Cassandra Coker; special cousins, Cory Drake and Robert Drake; special uncles, Harold Rutledge and Bobby Drake; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Trey Williams.  Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jojo Cromer, Michael Kirk, Brandon Vanco, Brian Flippo, Zack Wallace, Chad Bruce, Dustin Veatch, and Cory Drake.

Mr. Drake will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday.
