Little Marcellus Benjamin Lamar Cox passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Atrium Health Floyd.

He was born May 5, 2022, son of Michael Gage and Chelsey Elizabeth Womack Cox.

He was preceded in death by a special cousin, Mariah Journey Womack-Laney.

In addition to his parents, survivors include brothers, Dexter Cox and Daimonn Cox; grandparents, Mary Carter, Shane Womack, Michelle Mickley, Kevin Mickley; step-grandfather, Jerry Carter; great-grandmothers, Wanda Cosper, Arline Womack; aunts and uncles, Trinity Womack, Wade Laney, Nathan Lanham, and Kaylee Shadwick.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 13, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Burns officiating.
