Miss Kristy Lyn Hawkins, age 52, of Summerville, GA, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center after a brief illness.

Miss Hawkins was born March 13, 1969, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, daughter of Ronnie and Sharon Hawkins.  She was a member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church and was a 1989 graduate of LaFayette High School.

Survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Sharon Hawkins; uncles and aunts, Rickey and Janice Guest, Terry Hawkins, and Ann McCollum.

Private graveside services will be held at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.  Pallbearers will be Greg Willingham, Steve Osby, Tom Everett, Randy Elrod, Ronnie Hawkins, and Bobbie Chisolm.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
