Mr. Joseph LeBron DeBerry, age 53, of Summerville, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. DeBerry was born November 1, 1967, in Rome, GA, son of Sandra Lynette Carnes DeBerry and the late Harold Eugene DeBerry.  He had attended Fellowship Baptist Church and was employed as a truck driver.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold DeBerry, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Megan Millican DeBerry; sons, Tobey DeBerry and David McCary; daughter, Aniah McCary; mother, Sandra DeBerry; and a brother, Lamar (Larissa) DeBerry.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, August 27, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Pace and Bro. Kevin Norton officiating.  Interment will follow in Garrett Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Christopher DeBerry, Alex DeBerry, Lamar DeBerry, Tobey DeBerry, Noah McQueese, and Trace Burkhalter.

Mr. DeBerry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Friday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, the DeBerry Family encourages anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings to include social distancing, face masks, and the use of hand sanitizer.
