Mrs. Bessie Matthew Mann, age 86, of Lyerly, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Mann was born July 26, 1924 in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late Bence and Hattie Payton Anderson. She was a member of West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church. Mrs. Mann was retired from Riegel Textile.

Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband to whom she was married for 66 years, Rev. John Mann; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Danny Morgan; brothers, James "Bud" Anderson and Bence Anderson, JR; grandchildren, Tonya and Scott Tarrant, Billy John and Tabitha Lewis; great grandchildren, Levi Lewis, Maranda Tarrant and Summer Tarrant.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church with Rev. Gary Brown, Rev. Junior Stephens, and Rev. Jerry Denny officiating.

Burial will follow in Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Dotson, Billy Lewis, Jerald Brown, William Hughes, Scott Tarrant, and Chris Guffey. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church.

Mrs. Mann will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011.
