Ms. Sharon Dale (Barnes) Mitchell

Ms. Sharon Dale Mitchell age 72 of Summerville, GA died Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Floyd Medical Center.

Ms. Mitchell was born February 2, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late Dolph Edward Barnes and Alice Reynee Merritt Barnes. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Adrianne Vandavier.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tammy Mitchell, and Joseph Butler; daughters and son-in-law, Jeri and Joe Reich, Elisha Butler, and Sharon Cholfin; sister, Sheila Shelley; brother; Phillip Barnes; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Mitchell will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jason Pickle, Mike Mason, Scott Thompson, Joe Reich, Robby Ramey, and Terry Lewis.

Ms. Mitchell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday.
