Ms. Melissa Jean Christol

Ms. Melissa Jean Christol, age 49, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Christol was born April 26, 1969, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Carolyn Mae Hensley Fowler and William J. D. Fowler.  She was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annette Dover; grandmother, Roxie Fowler; and father of her children, Dennis Christol.

Ms. Christol is survived by her son, Aaron Christol; daughter and son-in-law, Ashla and Charlie Wilson; Step- mother, Carol Fowler; boyfriend, Cliff Leonard; brother, Lamar Fowler; and 3 grandchildren.

Ms. Christol will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2019.
