Mrs. Virginia Lee (Tucker) Ward

Mrs. Virginia Lee Daniel Ward, age 91, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Ward was born November 30, 1927, in Cedar Bluff, AL, daughter of the late Marvin and Essie McRae Tucker.  She had attended Lyerly Pentecostal Church and prior to her retirement, she was employed with Caron Spinning Mill.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ward; sisters, Barbara Ann Wesson and Sara Kate Watkins; and a brother, Sonny Tucker.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her sons, Paul B. (Gail) Daniel, Bobby Daniel, and Gary (Wendy) Daniel; and 4 grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Ward will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from the Summerville Cemetery with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Tim Wesson, Joe Daniel, Gene Wesson, James Wesson, and Billy Sabo.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

There will be no visitation.
