Mrs. Sarah Imogene Scoggins Cook, age 90, of Rome, GA, (formerly of Summerville) passed away Friday- October 25, 2019, at Canterfield of Kennesaw.
Mrs. Cook was born March 23, 1929, the daughter of the late, Leonard P. and Bessie Hawkins Scoggins. She was a member of the Garden Lakes Baptist Church, retired from Buster Brown, and is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edgar Cook to whom she was married for 69 years.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald E and Leslie Cook, Mike and Carolyn Cook; grandchildren, Jeff Cook, Jonathan Cook, Brian Cook, and Lori Adler; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Cook, Caleb Cook, Emma Grace Cook, Andrew Cook, Kyle Adler, Lana Adler, and Dylan Adler.
Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Cook will be held at 2:00 PM Monday- October 28 at Summerville Cemetery with Rev. Brad Farrant officiating. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
Mrs. Cook will lie in state and the family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until 1:45 at Mason Funeral Home.
