Mrs. Mildred Jean (Shaver) Ellenburg

Mrs. Mildred Jean Ellenburg, age 75, of Trion, GA, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Ellenburg was born October 26, 1943, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of the late James William “J. W.” and Jewel Aldine Edwards Shaver.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the retail sales industry.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellenburg was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Kinsey.

Mrs. Ellenburg is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bryon and Pat Corey, Matthew and Penny Latrice Ammons, Allen Ammons; a daughter-in-law, Mindy Kinsey Adkins; sisters, Evelyn Reddick and Faye Stover; grandchildren, Raven Alexander Ammons, Courtney Grace Ammons, Christian Kinsey, and Heather Nicole Corey; great-grandchildren, Franklin Jase Jennings, River Cobin Mobbs, and Caleb Dewayne Bentley.

Memorial services for Mrs. Ellenburg will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, June 7, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Friday.
