Mrs. Janice Marie (Grant) Parris

Mrs. Janice Marie Parris, age 69, of Trion, GA, died Friday, August 24, 2018, at CHI Memorial Georgia.

Mrs. Parris was born June 12, 1949, in Chattanooga, TN, daughter of the late Tommy Lee Grant and Fairrie Mae Owens Grant.  She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Grant and Billy Grant.

Mrs. Parris is survived by her husband, Danny Parris; daughters, Tammy Hall and Tina Miller; step-children, Donnie Parris and Christy Parris; her twin brother, Jerry Grant; a sister, Elizabeth Meador; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Parris will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 27, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Wells officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Shane Miller, Zack King, Nicholas Hall, and Lonnie Hall.

Mrs. Parris will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2018.
