Mrs. Glenda Jean Rutledge

Mrs. Glenda Jean Rutledge, age 74, of Summerville, GA, passed away Monday- August 20, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Rutledge was born December 30, 1943, in Trion, GA, the daughter of the late Harold and Vera Hunter.  She was employed as a Healthcare Provider with Northwest Regional Hospital. Other than parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert H. Rutledge, and a grandson, Jeremy “Buzz” Greene.

Survivors include her children, Sherman & Sandy Rutledge, Laura Rutledge, Timmy Jo & Neisha Rutledge, Malinda Rutledge, brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Lynda Hunter, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday- August 23, 2018, at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Aaron Rutledge, T.J. Rutledge, Bubba Wilson, Doug Colbert, Michael Hunter, and Chris Watson.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Chattooga Dialysis Center & Home Health Employees.

Mrs. Rutledge will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Wednesday- August 22, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m.
