Mrs. Brenda Fay (Sims) Tucker

Mrs. Brenda Fay Sims Tucker, age 68, of Gaylesville, AL, died Monday, January 29, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Tucker was born January 11, 1950, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Raymond and Inez Hughes Sims.  She was Baptist by faith and was employed with North Georgia Home Health.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lonnie Sims and William Sims; and an infant sister, Catherine Sims.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband, Gene Tucker; step-son, John (Crystal) Tucker; daughters, Charmin Gazaway, April Nelson, and Lori Tucker; brothers-in-law, Michael Tucker, Joey Tucker, and Stacy Tucker; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Deborah (Jimmy) Howard, Gayle (Terry) Gazaway, Jeanette (Daniel) Bone, Annette (Ricky) Broom; sisters, Rachel (Junior) Gonzales, Kay (Jimmy) Miller, Lynn (Johnny) Aldridge; grandchildren, Cody Burke, Abigail Nelson, Addilyn Nelson, Hailey Spraggins, Heather Spraggins, Zack Tucker, LeAnn Tucker; great-grandchild, Maddux Burke.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held at 2:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. W. Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow in Moseley Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Michael Tucker, Cody Burke, John Tucker, Brian Gazaway, Frankie Aldridge, and Joesph Tucker.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Miller and J. W. Aldridge.

Mrs. Tucker will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon (E.S.T.) until the hour of service on Wednesday.
