Mr. Stanford "Stan" E. Blackmon

Mr. Stanford “Stan” Eugene Blackmon, age 69, of Lafayette, GA, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Hospice of Chattanooga.

Mr. Blackmon was born October 22, 1949, in Trion, GA, the son of Eula Mae Hill Blackmon and the late Edward Blackmon.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Blackmon.

Survivors include his mother, Eula Mae Hill Blackmon; daughters, Angela Owens, Holly McGhee; son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Krista Blackmon; brothers, Billy Blackmon, Gary Blackmon, Johnny Blackmon; sisters, Mary Ledford, Wanda Brown; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Blackmon was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
