Mr. Rodrick H. Nichols

Mr. Rodrick “Rod” Henry Nichols, age 52, of Mentone, AL, passed away Saturday- January 19, 2019, at Crossville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Nichols was born December 9, 1966, in Trion, GA, to Henry and Virginia Jo Johnson Nichols.  He was a member of the Chesterfield Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Diana Nichols.

Survivors include his children, Kayla Nichols, and fiancé Preston Allmon,  Krysta and Tripp Cheatham, step-children, Joseph Howell, Jamie and Jackie Haney;  sister and brother-in law, Pam and Bobby Cavin;  brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Margaret Nichols, grandchildren, Paizley Cheatham, Bryer Cheatham, step-grandchildren, Dustin, Josiah, Sophia, Jonah, Chevy, Cash, and Bella.

Memorial services for Mr. Nichols will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Chesterfield Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Inurnment will follow at AMI Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday January 26, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
