Mr. Robert Louis Pettyjohn

Mr. Robert Louis Pettyjohn, age 67, of Trion, GA, died Monday, August 6, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Pettyjohn was born July 18, 1951, in LaFayette, GA, son of the late Louis and Dorothy Russell Pettyjohn.  He was Church of Christ by faith, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Ronile.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Bridges and Mary Nell Gilreath; brothers, Jimmy Pettyjohn and Lavon Pettyjohn.

Mr. Pettyjohn is survived by his wife, Elaine Broome Pettyjohn; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn (Precillia) Pettyjohn; brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Ann) Pettyjohn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dean (Curtis) Broome, Rita (Mac) Brown, Elaine (Jimmy) Ward; brothers-in-law, Rickey (Annette) Broome, Randy Broome, and Mark W. Schrader.; granddaughter, McKayla Pettyjohn, step-granddaughter, Ashley Adams; step-great-granddaughters, Presleigh Adams and Nevaeh Adams; an expected great-grandson, Jerimiah Lamar Louis Pettyjohn; special friends, Toby Schrader, Charles Moseley, and Jesse Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Pettyjohn will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 9, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Holman and Rev. Frank Ford officiating.  Interment will follow in Alexander Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brent Campbell, Jeremy Campbell, Gary Gilreath, Mark W. Schrader, Shannon Romine, and Dakoda Willingham.

Mr. Pettyjohn will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.
