Mr. Raymond Guy Gaylor

Mr. Raymond Guy Gaylor, age 78, of Summerville, GA passed away May 24, 2018 at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Gaylor was born December 26, 1939 in Rome, GA to the late Melvin and Etoile Hamby Gaylor.  He was a retired truck driver with North American Van Lines.   Along with his parents,  he is preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Gaylor.

Mr. Gaylor is survived by his wife, Evelyn Gaylor; daughters Bonny Ruth Chipko and Cynthia Lynn Whitmire; Aunt Evelyn Hamby Simms and Lois Hamby; and grand children Adam Chipko, Devon Chipko, Chuck Whitmire III, and Caleb Whitmire.

Funeral services for Mr. Gaylor will be held at 1 pm Sunday May 27, 2018 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Wright officiating.  Interment will follow at Lyerly Cemetery.

Mr. Gayler will be in state and the family will receive friends Saturday 6-8 at the funeral home.
