Mr. Matthew Franklin Crawford

Mr. Matthew Franklin Crawford, age 94, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Crawford was born May 15, 1924, in Farrill, AL.  Prior to his retirement, he had worked in the pulpwood and construction industry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louie Stalling Crawford; brothers, Ben Crawford and Mack Crawford.

Mr. Crawford is survived by step-daughters, Dorothy McDaniel and Irene Exum; step granddaughters, Stephanie Chambers, Kathy Adams, Lorene Mitchell, and Patricia Johnson; sister-in-law, Daytan Crawford; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Crawford will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hubert Lofton officiating.  Interment will follow in Thomas Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Crawford will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
