Mr. Joseph Monroe “Joe” Martin, age 66, of Gaylesville, AL, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Martin was born August 2, 1951, in Montgomery, AL, son of the late John Leonard Sr. and Clara Mae Ruessell Martin.  He attended the Mount Bethel Baptist Church and was employed with Mohawk Industries.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Christopher Martin sister, Ethel Don Mealer.

Mr. Martin is survived by the mother of his children, Ann Martin; sons, Brandon Martin, Logan Martin, and Lance Martin; brothers, Jimmy Martin and John Martin, Jr.; sister, Jaye Lene Beason; granddaughters, Addie Martin and Lily Martin.

Graveside memorial services for Mr. Martin will be held at 3:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Saturday, January 20, 2018, from Moseley Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Teague officiating.
