Mr. Joe "Franky" Cline, Jr.

Mr. Joe “Franky” Cline, Jr., age 61 of Trion, GA passed away Thursday- December 5, 2019 at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Cline was born June 18, 1958 in LaFayette GA to Jean Owens Cline Maddux and the late Joe Frank “Bud” Cline, Sr. He was a member of Trion United Methodist Church and a avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Frankie loved people and was a joy to be around.

Along with his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Cline.

Survivors include his parents Jean and Graham Maddux; brother, Colby (Vanessa) Maddux; sister, Kaye (Randy) Riddle,; step-brothers, David Dunwoody, George Maddux, Dennis (Ann) Maddux, step-sisters, Pam Teague, Janet Holbrook, and Patty Maddux along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Franky Cline will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, December 8, 2019, at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Bro. Colby Dane Maddux, Bro. James Hannah, and Bro. Terry Shores  officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery with Chris Ellenburg, Cody McGraw, Mike Ellenburg, Roger Hobbs, John Thomas Maddux, and Bird Lawrence serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and C.N.A.’s of Oakview Health and Rehabilitation and all other special friends.

Mr. Cline will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday.
