Mr. Jerry Wayne Turner, age 69, of Summerville, GA passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. 

Mr. Turner was born March 9, 1948 in Rome, GA to James Turner and the late Della Jo Smith Turner.  He was a teacher, retired from Red Bud Elementary in the Gordon County School System.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Turner; and sister, Sherry Turner.

Mr. Turner is survived by his father, James Turner.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Turner will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 2, 2017, at the Summerville Cemetery with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating. 

Mr. Turner will be in state and the family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service on Monday.
