Mr. Jerry Wayne Brown

Mr. Jerry W. Brown, age 63, of Lick Skillet Road, Summerville, GA, passed away October 2, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born December 15, 1954, in Summerville, GA, the son of the late Grady and Cleo Parker Brown.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from Mt Vernon Mills and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed to hunt and fish.

Along with his parents, Mr. Brownwas preceded in death by a daughter; Jennifer Brown, sister; Christine Smith, and a niece; Carrie Galloway.

Mr. Brown is survived by his fiancé; Terri Ozment, son; Tony Brown, brothers; Ray Brown, and Johnny Mac Brown, sisters; Doris Bray and Betty Heart, and 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Brown will be in state at  Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday October 5, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
