Mr. James Harold "Jimmy" Galloway, Sr.

Mr. James Harold “Jimmy” Galloway, Sr, age 78, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, March 11, 2019.

Mr. Galloway was born November 22, 1940, son of the late Samuel Erby Galloway and Clara Belle Allen Galloway.  He attended Dry Valley Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Blair Manufacturing.  He was also a C.B. and HAM Radio Operator.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Galloway was preceded in death by his a brother, Ralph Galloway; sisters, Edna Nixon and Faye Galloway; and daughter-in-law, Carrie Galloway.

Mr. Galloway is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nena Young Galloway; a son, James H. Galloway, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Donald Arnold; a granddaughter, Amy Galloway; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Galloway will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Men of Dry Valley Baptist Church.

Mr. Galloway will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Friday.
