Mr. Garry Lee Chastain

Mr. Garry Lee Chastain, age 59, of Trion, GA, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at CHI Memorial Hospital-Chattanooga.

Mr. Chastain was born January 7, 1959, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, son of the late Fred Lee Chastain and Ella Louise Bell Chastain.  He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church and was employed with Tuftco Finishing Systems in Dalton, GA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Yvonne Ramey Chastain; sister, Matilda “Tillie” Johnson; and mother-in-law, Betty Sue Ramey.

Mr. Chastain is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Lee and Wynde Chastain; father-in-law, Curtis Levern Ramey; and nieces, Holly Johson Huskey and Denise Taylor.

Graveside services for Mr. Chastain will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Howell Cemetery with Pastor Sam Barrett officiating.  Pallbearers will be his co-workers at Tuftco Finishing Systems.

Mr. Chastain will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Saturday.
