Mr. Floyd "Steve" Seymore

Mr. Floyd Steven Seymore, age 58, of Trion, GA, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Seymore was born May 17, 1959, in Trion, GA, son of Frances Lois Massey Seymore and the late Floyd Wesley Seymore.  He was Baptist by faith and was employed with Wal-Mart.  Mr. Seymore was a graduate of the Trion High School Class of 1977 and he enjoyed fishing and kayaking.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Alan Seymore; and brother-in-law, Charles “Eddie” Colbert.

Mr. Seymore is survived by his mother, Frances Lois Massey Seymore; sisters and brother-in-law, Melissa Colbert, Madonna and David Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Seymore will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 1, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Rickey Seymore, Eddie Massey, Lee Massey, C. E. Massey, Doug Colbert, and Donnie Gentry.  Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Seymore will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
