Mr. Dennis Lee Hancock

Mr. Dennis Lee Hancock age 82 of Summerville, GA passed away Saturday- March 2, 2019 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hancock was born March 5, 1936 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Ernest and Virdie Cole Hancock. He was retired as the head of maintenance at Kennesaw State University.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brain Hancock.   

Survivors include his wife, Betty Taylor Hancock; daughters, Judy A. Beatenbaugh, Arlene Minter, and Karen Hancock; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Rovene Hancock; 14 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Hancock will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday- March 5, 2019, at the Chapel of Mason Funeral home with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow and the family will meet at 2:00 P.M. at Haven of Rest Memorial Park, located at 3736 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA.

Mr. Hancock will be in state and the family will receive friends at Mason Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 – 7:00.
