Mr. Darius Trae Hines

Mr. Darius Trae Hines, age 24, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the V.A. Medical Center in Tampa, FL.

Mr. Hines was born January 4, 1994, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.  He was a member of North Summerville Baptist Church and served in the United States Army.  He was a member of the Ft Bliss, TX, flag football, softball, and swim teams.  He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.  Mr. Hines was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Foster, Sr.

Mr. Hines is survived by his parents, Paige and Will Ford; Father, Tracey Hines; son, Brayden Hines; brothers, Shawn (Maria) Lawrence, Kollin Lawson, Armand Ford; sisters, Taylor Hines, Tierra Ford, Justyce (Demarcus) Hight, Labresha Bankston; grandparents, John and Judy Brewster, Mary and Conley Martin, Sr., Will Ford, Sr., and Terry Hines; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Hines will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 11, 2018, at North Summerville Baptist Church with Mr. Michael Lee Stancil officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Devon Farmer, Michael Farmer, Chris Wilson, Rhett Tucker, Sean Howard, Bradley Adams, Kyle Parris, Brennon Price, Lily Burke, Melissa Byrd, Catherine Welsh, and Members of the 1st Battalion 6th Infantry Regiment, Ft Bliss, TX.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday November 11, 2018, at the North Summerville Baptist Church.
