Mr. Billy Ray "Mudd Flapp" Green

Mr. Billy Ray “Mudd Flapp” Green, age 56, of Cloudland, GA, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Green was born February 8, 1961, in Fort Payne, AL, son of Mildred Sims Dover and the late Billy Earl Green.  He was a log truck driver with Green Trucking.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin N. Green; and a sister, Jennifer Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Melissa Green; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Crystal Green, Billy Jason “B. J.” Green and Joanie Lynn Shafer; mother, Mildred Sims Dover brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Melanie Green, Robert Earl Green, and Billy Wayne Green; sisters and brother-in-law, Teresa and Wendell Eleam, Billie Jo Green,; grandchildren, Serenity Claire Green and Cameron Ray Green.

Funeral services for Mr. Green will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 11, 2018, from Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cloudland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chancie Rhodes, Matthew Osborne, Clark Smith, Preston Kirby, Doug Gilreath, and Chad Green.  Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Green, Steve Werner, John Paul Rape, and Terry Green.

Mr. Green will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018.
