Mr. Billy Gleamon Ezell, age 83, of Summerville, GA, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Ezell was born November 28, 1933, in Olaton, KY, the son of the late Henry Levi and Myrtle Sibiel Thoms Ezell.  He was a retired 20 year veteran of the U.S. Airforce, having served in Korea and Vietnam.

Survivors include Sue Phillips, the mother of his children Glen & (Rita) Ezell, Joseph Ray Ezell, sister; Geneva Faye Norris, grandchildren; Sonja Ezell Price, Brian Ezell, and Hope Ezell, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Ezell will be at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 6 at the chapel of Mason Funeral with Rev. Jim Vanpelt officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. (EST) Thursday, September 7th at Weiss Lake Memory Gardens with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the American Legion Post 129 and V.F.W. Post 6688.

Mr. Ezell will lie in state and the family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour. All other hours, the family will be at the residence of Glen Ezell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), to help support young airman families or VFW Post 6688.
