Miss Michelle Lynn Evans

Miss Michelle Lynn Evans, age 48, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Miss Evans was born March 5, 1970, in Rome, GA, daughter of Carol Elaine Ratliff Evans and the late Doyal Ray Evans.  She was a member of Silver Hill Baptist Church and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Gordon Health and Rehabilitation for 26 years.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Ray Evans.

Miss Evans is survived by her mother, Carol Elaine Evans; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Brandi Evans; sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and Jamie Scott; nieces, Kara Evans, Peyton (Cody) Puckett, Cierra Raines, Kylie Evans; and 3 great-nieces.

Funeral services for Miss Evans will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Silver Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Headrick and Rev. Barry Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in the Silver Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Michael Ratliff, Shane Bandy, Matt Battle, Kris Easterwood, Edward Butler, Scott Culberson, Dakota Culberson, and Gerald Culberson.

Miss Evans will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.  She will also lie in state at Silver Hill Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
