Miss Lucy “Jackie” Jacquelyn Mitchell, age 88 of Menlo, GA passed away Sunday- December 31, 2017 at Oakview Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Miss Mitchell was born July 28, 1929 in Gaylesville, AL to the late Amos H. and Clara Warren Mitchell. Prior to retirement she was the credit manager for Pure Oil and Union Oil Companies.

Along with her parents, Miss Mitchell is preceded in death by her brother; Gary H. Mitchell who passed away in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include her brother; Charles E. Mitchell, sisters; Isabelle Zolnick, Bonnie M. Sharpe, Shirley O. Meek, and Alice M. Black. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Miss Mitchell will be 1:00 Tuesday- January 2, 2018 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens.

Miss Mitchell will be in state and the family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
