Miss Emily Cheyenne Johnson

Miss Emily Cheyenne Johnson, age 17 of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away Sunday- June 17, 2018 at her residence.

Emily was born January 24, 2001, in Ft. Payne, AL, the daughter of Scott Eugene Johnson and Shae Lynn Smith.  She was a senior at Gaylesville High School, and is preceded in death by her grandfather; Billy Johnson, step-grandfather; Danny Slayton, and uncle; Brian Smith.

Survivors include her father; Scott Johnson, mother & step-father; Shae Smith & Chad Slayton, brothers; Lance Bryant, Will Smith, and Levi Slayton, sisters; Ashley Slayton, and Caitlin Slayton and grandmothers; Glenda Bridges, Geraldine Johnson,  and Brenda Slayton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM (EST) Wednesday- June 20 at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Parker. Burial will follow at Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be P. J. Pangle, Dell Slayton, Kaleb Whatley, Curtis McDaniel, Justin Sanford, and David Sanford.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon (EST) until the service hour.
