Min. James "Jim" Eldon Huskey

Min. James Eldon “Jim” Huskey, age 77, of Trion, GA, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at his residence.

Min. Huskey was born June 9, 1941, in Normandy, TN, son of the late Sam Burgin and Pauline Young Huskey.  He was a member and minister at Halls Valley Church of Christ, and prior to his retirement, was employed as an agent with Gaylor Insurance.  Min. Huskey was a Church of Christ Minister for over 55 years with various churches. 

Min. Huskey is survived by his wife, Sharon Meacham Huskey; a son, James Bartholomew Huskey; a daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Huskey Hatch; brother, Robert Lyndol Huskey; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Min. Huskey will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 4, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Roger Jones officiating.  Interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. (E.S.T.) Friday, October 5, 2018, from the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.  Active pallbearers will be Jamey Huskey, Alexander Huskey, and Ryan Gravely.  Honorary pallbearers will be Meacham Hatch and Reanna Huskey.

Min. Huskey will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.
