Ms. Patsy Ann Light Woods

Ms. Patsy Ann Light Woods, age 75, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Floyd Medical Center.

Ms. Woods was born November 21, 1942, in Rome, GA, daughter of the late Jeddy S. and Mildred Frances Ashworth Light.  She was a member of Sonrise Community Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mohawk Industries.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Brenda Raynell Wiseman, Faye Neil Duke, and Carol Sue Ash.

Ms. Woods is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Maxwell Light, William Donald and Deborah D. Light; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances Maxine Jones, Nancy Ailene Light, Fredda McCrickard, Deborah Jean Warnock, Roxie Lynn (Larry) Weesner, Elizabeth Gail and James W. “Jim” Bennett.

Memorial services for Ms. Woods will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 18, 2018, from Sonrise Community Church with Dr. Steve H. Pickern and Rev. Marcus A. McCrickard officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Gene Moore, Chuck Hartline, Jeremy Collins, and Tracy Espy.  Honorary pallbearers will be Danny and Sandra Black and James Bennett.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Sonrise Community Church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday.
