Ms. Jordan was born May 30, 1937, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Isaac Jackson Jordan and Ethel Boyd Jordan.  She attended school in Menlo, GA, and worked in textiles the majority of her life.  She was a member of the Beersheba Presbyterian Church and the Reading Buddies in Menlo, GA.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Galey and Lord and had also worked at Lowe's.  Ms. Jordan enjoyed gardening and reading, her favorite author being John Grisham.  She also had a passion for politics and discussed it with her sister, Kat, daily.  She was a loving, wonderful mother to her daughter, Rebecca Diane Woodall, and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was very active in her community and was frequently seen walking in Menlo.  In 2013, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and fought it with all that she had.  She is now resting in Heaven with the rest of her family who've gone on before her.
