Mrs. Zennia Day Eller Hester, age 88, of Gaylesville, AL, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Hester was born July 14, 1929, in Cherokee County AL, daughter of the late Dan and Ethel Eller.  She had attended Chesterfield Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Hester; sister, Millie Rabun; and a brother, Bud Eller.

Mrs. Hester is survived by her daughters, Brooke Hester, Bree Hester, and Bridget Hester; a brother, Fred Eller; grandchildren, Braden Roan, Jordan Roan, John Roan, and Alana White.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hester will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Ledford officiating.  Interment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Hester will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
